# Your website address

Every website lives at ueventi.com/sites/your-name. Change the name any time, or connect your own domain.

When you publish, your website goes online at **ueventi.com/sites/** followed by the name you chose, for example **ueventi.com/sites/emma-and-james**. Guests who open their personal link land there with their name already filled in.

## Change the name

1. Open **Website** and go to the **Settings** tab.
2. Under **Website address**, type the new name. Use 3 to 40 lowercase letters, digits or single dashes.
3. Wait for the **Available** check, then click **Save address**.

> **Note:** The old address stops working right away, so send the new link to anyone who already has the old one. Personal links in invitations you send after the change use the new address automatically.

## Use your own domain

You can also show the website on a domain you own, like www.emmaandjames.com. The custom domain is a paid add-on. You'll find the price on the Website page under **Domain**, and you can read [Use your own domain](https://app.ueventi.com/docs/en/articles/custom-domain) for the steps.
