# WhatsApp, SMS and AI calls

The three ways Eventi reaches your guests, and how to choose.

- **WhatsApp** - the default. Guests get your card and reply with one tap.
- **SMS** - a text message with the guest's personal link, for guests who don't use WhatsApp.
- **Voice calls** - an AI assistant calls guests who haven't answered and records their RSVP. Available in English and Hebrew.

## Turn channels on or off

Go to **Event settings** > **How guests are reached**. At least one channel has to stay on.

## Choose a channel per guest

Messages go out on each guest's **Preferred channel**. WhatsApp is the default. To text a guest instead, open them in the **Guest list** and set **Preferred channel** to **SMS**.

## Who sends the messages

Messages are sent from Eventi's WhatsApp account and phone number, on your behalf. Your guests see your event name and your names in the message.

> **Note:** We send a few messages at a time so WhatsApp doesn't flag your invitations as spam. A large list can take a little while to go out.
