# Remove your website from Google

Turn off the search switch and Google drops the page within days. Contact us if it's urgent.

If your website shows up in Google and you'd rather it didn't, turn off **Show in search engines**. Websites are hidden by default, so this only applies if you turned the switch on earlier.

1. Open **Website** and go to the **Settings** tab.
2. Under **Visibility**, turn off **Show in search engines**.
3. The page now asks search engines not to list it, and it leaves our sitemap and the events directory immediately.

Google removes the page from its results the next time it visits, usually within a few days and sometimes up to two weeks. People who already have the link can still open the website.

## Need it gone faster?

Chat with us or email support@ueventi.com with the website address and we'll ask Google to remove it right away. To take the website offline completely, click **Unpublish** on the Website page: the address stops working for everyone, and you can publish again later.
