# Quiet hours and timing

Make sure messages and calls never reach guests at night.

**Quiet hours** stop messages and calls from going out at night. They're on by default, from 21:00 to 10:00.

If a step lands in quiet hours, it waits and goes out when quiet hours end. You can choose **Skip it** instead.

## Change quiet hours

1. In the **Guest journey**, click **Start sending**.
2. In **Review before sending**, find the quiet hours line and click **Adjust**.
3. Set **From** and **Until**, and choose what happens to steps that land in quiet hours.

## Event day and after

The **Day-of message** goes out on the morning of the event, and the **Thank-you** the day after. Click **Edit** on a step to pick a different time or day.

> **Note:** Reminders and the day-of message are timed from your event date and time zone. Double-check both in **Event settings** > **Event details**.
