# Choose an invitation type

Use one of our designs, upload your own card, or send a link.

Open **Invitation** from the event menu. Under **Type**, choose one of three options:

- **Picture** - we build the card from your event details, using one of our designs. You can add a photo.
- **Custom design** - upload an invitation you already designed. We send it as-is, with no text on top.
- **Link to a site** - guests get a link instead of a card image. Enter it under **Link URL**.

## Layout

With **Picture**, choose a **Layout**: **Standard** puts the event details first with a small optional photo, and **Photo-forward** leads with a large photo.

## Upload a photo or card

Click **Upload image** under **Photo** (or **Your invitation image** for a custom design). Use a clear JPEG or PNG.

When you're happy, click **Save**. To see the result, click **Preview invitation** on the event page.
