# Use your own domain

Connect an address you own, like www.emmaandjames.com.

All collections: [Event website](https://app.ueventi.com/docs/en/event-website)

Instead of the ueventi.com address, you can use a domain you already own. The custom domain costs $29 / ₪99, paid once for this event. The website itself is free to build and publish.

1. Open **Website** and go to the **Domain** tab.
2. Click **Add a custom domain** and pay.
3. Under **Your domain**, enter the domain, for example www.emmaandjames.com, and click **Connect**.
4. Add the DNS record we show you at your domain provider.
5. Wait for the status to change from **Waiting for DNS** to **Active**. Click **Check now** to check right away.

DNS changes can take up to a few hours. We check automatically every few minutes.

The domain stays connected until 60 days after your event. To disconnect it earlier, click **Remove domain**. The website stays available at its Eventi address.

> **Note:** Bought the add-on but never connected a domain? You can refund it yourself with **Refund the custom domain add-on**.
